Description This art facility complex stands on a hill in Minami Ward. The expansive and natural-surrounds of the Sculpture Garden are dotted with works, while the Museum of Contemporary Art features special exhibitions. Crafts are displayed and sold in the Craft Hall, and the Craft Studio provides pottery, dyeing and woodwork workshops.
Hours 9:45 – 17:00 (17:30 June 1 – August 31) (Last entry is 30 minutes before closing)
Sculpture Garden is open daily from April 29 to November 3.
Closed Mondays from November 4 to April 28 (Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday), year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 – January 3)
Sculpture Garden is closed from November 4 to April 28. (From January to early March, open for free with free-of-charge rental snow shoes.)

Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art

Description Exquisite arts from the modern era are displayed with a focus on Hokkaido Arts, Pascin and Ecole de Paris, and Glass Crafts.

Migishi Kotaro Museum of Arts, Hokkaido

Hongo Shin Memorial Museum of Sculpture, Sapporo

Description This museum displays works by Sapporo-born sculptor, Shin Hongo. The Memorial House showcases his designs and prototypes as well as the work of other artists collected by Hongo.
